Terms and Conditions of Use
To make purchases on the Schott.it website, the Customer must:
– fall into the category of “end consumer,” defined as any natural and/or legal person who uses the e-commerce platform without entrepreneurial, commercial, or professional purposes;
– be at least 18 years old;
– possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; have a valid account and email address;
– be the holder of a valid bank account or a credit/debit card accepted for payments on Schott.it (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners) or a verified PayPal account;
– be aware of and accept, under their own responsibility, that use of the Schott.it website is governed by the laws in force in the Italian State.
Schott.it declines all responsibility in cases where, due to a malfunction or specific configuration of the Customer's computer, the colors of products displayed on the website may not accurately reflect the original ones and may show slight differences compared to the published items.
In the event of discrepancies between items for sale and those depicted on the website — due to sudden changes made during production — the Customer placing the order will be contacted by Schott.it Customer Service to be informed of such changes and to express consent, possibly requesting order cancellation or a refund.
Schott.it ensures the protection of its website in accordance with international internet standards but disclaims any liability for problems, damages, or risks that the Customer may encounter while using the site or for malfunctions related to the deactivation of cookies in the user's browser.
The use of the Schott.it website — which provides information about clothing products and how to purchase them — implies that users/customers accept the legal terms and conditions set forth in this statement.
Failure to accept these terms entitles Schott.it to request that users/customers refrain from accessing and using the website.
Commercial Policy
The sale of goods offered on the Schott.it website is reserved exclusively for the "End Consumer"; for this reason, Schott.it will not accept orders placed by anyone other than an End Consumer, orders submitted on behalf of third parties, or those that fall outside of the commercial policy described herein.
Likewise, Schott.it reserves the right to refuse the fulfillment of an order if its credit institution expresses a negative opinion following verification of the transaction with the Customer’s bank. Furthermore, Schott.it retains the right to refuse service or the processing of orders to anyone, at any time.
Schott.it reserves the right to make corrections and/or changes to the website and its contents whenever it deems necessary, without prior notice, and also commits — when notified — to correcting any technical or typographical errors on the site.
Schott.it cannot guarantee that the contents of the website (texts, images, fonts, graphic design, music, software, codes, and format scripts) comply with the regulations of countries other than the Italian Republic. Schott.it declines all responsibility for access to the site from locations or countries where the contents may be considered illegal or contrary to local laws.
Any users accessing the site from such locations do so at their own risk, fully aware that they are solely responsible for complying with local laws and any penalties they may incur.
All personal data provided by the Customer will be processed in full compliance with Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, Article 13 and subsequent articles.
Right of Withdrawal
Fully respecting the rights of the Customer and aiming to ensure their complete satisfaction, Schott.it undertakes to recognize the Customer’s right of withdrawal, as provided by Legislative Decree No. 185 of May 22, 1999 — “Implementation of Directive 97/7/EC on the protection of consumers in respect of distance contracts” — with specific reference to Article 5.
